FAQs
Why use nylon bristles?
The only 100% bristles available in the market now are animal hair products. We are hoping in the near future we will find something more reusable and recyclable. By supporting our product you are telling big manufacturers there is a demand for it and as we move from plastic to bamboo handles we can someday do the same for bristles.

Where is the product made?
Our Shea Butter and African black soap are sourced in Nigeria from women-run cooperatives. Our toothbrushes are designed in the UK and made in China from sustainable bamboo. In Chinese culture, bamboo has been used for thousands of years and is in the heart of many traditions and customs.

Why bamboo?
Bamboo is a grass and not a tree. Some species can grow up to 2 feet in a single day. These qualities make it highly sustainable. Our verified suppliers ensure that nature and animals are the first priority.

..but Pandas
We are glad you asked! We love Pandas too, so would only use the grown Mao bamboo. Pandas prefer the leaves and the soft juicy bits.

Why is the hardness only available in soft bristles and medium?
We did our research, dentists agree that brushing your teeth with hard bristles can damage your teeth. The practice of brushing twice a day and using our well-designed bristles to get to the hard to reach areas will provide better results than hard bristles.

What is the colour on the brush made from?
The colour on the brush is made from non-toxic, solvent free water based ink.

What is the packaging made of?
It is made from 100% biodegradable and easily recyclable kraft paper
